Market Report
We'll publish dated reports only when authorized data is available. Until then, here's how to read anyone's numbers.
Ask of any market statistic
- What geography — city limits, ZIP code, or county subset?
- What period and sample size?
- Detached, attached or new construction?
- Asking prices or closed sales?
What our reports will include
When we publish a dated report, it will state the data source, the exact geography, the period, the property types included and the number of sales — and it will separate closed sales from active listings. We won't forecast prices or appreciation.

Common ways numbers mislead
A median price for a ZIP code can mix homes inside and outside city limits, and across two counties. A small month can swing sharply on a handful of sales. New construction and resale homes behave differently, and asking prices are not sale prices.
When you see a statistic, look for the source, the period, the geography and the sample size before drawing a conclusion.
