Off-season: pair downtown with a city park or a drive past the research campus.

Downtown

West Avenue was rebuilt as a pedestrian-first street, and it's the natural starting point for most downtown visits.

Baseball & Events

The city-owned ballpark opened in 2021 at the edge of downtown and is home to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, a Minor League Baseball team.
